Healing Journey

This is a healing journey done on behalf of a woman named Angela who was experiencing back pain and is
shared with her permission...
I began the journey by asking guides to remove my ego self, as well as any expectations or
desires for certain outcomes I might have. As the journey began I was my light body (the form
and energy of my body was there but the material self was gone). I stepped into the bon fire I
use to go to the Upper World and was immediately submersed in flames. I glided through the
dancing ribbons of fire, our essences intertwining while we maintained our distinct forms. After
some time I began to rise on the heat created by the fire and moved closer to the upper world.
The travel was quick and the levels flew by like a train rushing past an empty platform at a
station. Finally, I stopped at the 6th level.
I sat down and prayed for assistance and stated my intention of getting help/guidance/relief for
Angela’s back. I sat there for quite some time before a Lapis stepping stone appeared before me.
As I put both of my feet onto the deep blue stone another one emerged in front of me. This
pattern continued for some time, each step rising a bit higher than the last. There was nothing
below me except several layers of clouds and sky. After moving forward like this for some time
a grand tree suddenly appeared before me. I noticed that I was level with a large branch. I
stepped off of the stone that held me and onto the branch where I sat down. I felt other branches
of the tree move to support me.
Once more I stated my intentions for Angela. The tree responded “That is why I am here.” At
that moment I saw an opening in the tree where the branch and the trunk met. I peered inside
and saw an inviting sort of den area situated in the tree’s large belly. I stated my intentions again
and the tree responded the same way. After the tree’s response I found myself inside of it. The
floor of the inner space had a smooth soft texture similar to suede. The inner wall’s texture was
made from both smooth and rough patches. I stated my intentions a final time receiving the same
answer from the tree.
I noticed that things seemed to be moving very slow and purposefully. After some time Angela’s
image appeared. The tree prompted Angela to position herself on some pegs that were jutting
out of the den’s wall. The pegs supported Angela’s feet and arms so that her body could rest
entirely on the tree while still in an upright position. The first image I witnessed was of two
small branches moving up the sides of her spine. I got a sense of these branches providing support
like a splint for her spinal column. Next, a mixture of sap and water moved between her
vertebras like a strange salve. The two substances offered different remedies—the sap, structure
and support—the water fluidity.
Next, two branches emerged from the walls of the den like hands moving on long billowing
arms. The leaves on these branches went to her heart and started to remove a dark substance
that was thick, black and viscous. At that moment the tree revealed itself as an oak. Actually
the words “grand oak” are what came through. I could feel Angela’s deep connection to nature.
The tree suggested a need for Angela to find peace in her movements—a conscious peaceful
fluidity. I had a picture of branches of a tree floating on a gentle wind. Then an image emerged
and remained for some time of Angela doing Tai Chi or a similar sort of art of movement.
Finally, the journey revealed an image of a stone on the right side of Angela’s chest. It looked
like a river stone smoothed some by time and travel through rough waters. The sense was that
this stone/blockage had to be released through body consciousness. There was a strong insistence
that it could not be released through mind or word but by body alone. If such a connection could
be forged then the stone would work its way out of the body like a kidney stone. There was also
a clear sense that the stone was both a lesson and a gift. As the journey ended there was a feeling
of stiffness in the neck that would pass.
