A trumpeting spiral is an ancient Gaelic symbol. A spiral is the perfect symbol of
growth, echoing the unending circle of our spiritual life but instead of being closed it
allows for continuous dimensional movement.
Trumpets conjure an image of heralding or drawing attention to something. The time
has come to call attention to and reintegrate the ancient ways of the shaman. We are
becoming more disconnected from our selves and one another. It is time to walk
differently in this world and I believe that shamanic practice can be our guide in this
endeavor.
